isn’t the SPD-30 GM compatible?
I would imagine it’s just a matter of opening the EZdrummer 2 standalone, select the the SPD-30 as MIDI interface and start playing.
If things do not map as expected, perhaps you should try the ‘Roland’ E-drum MIDI Mapping.
I just got EZD3 for my Roland SPD 30. However, after I do the standard MIDI setup on my 2013 Mac Book Pro, I am unable to get varying volume versus the velocity at which I am playing on the pads. As such, I can’t play with expression.
Is variable volume versus velocity available in EZD3 with the Roland SPD 30 or do I need to invest in a sound module specifically?
Thanks in advance,
Troy
