To be honest with you, I don’t know what I was thinking. I hadn’t used the program in a couple years and then I heard the Jazz Midi kit, loved it and ordered it immediately for a project thats coming up. It didn’t seem to be working right in my DAW (Logic). I couldn’t get it to output into the program although it was outputting on my interface. If I had changed the outputs to Midi 1 instead of Omni it probably would have worked but I forgot all about that.
Looking at the program it seemed to be enabled as an RTAS, so I thought there my have been a mistake when I installed it. I definitely had missed the window where you chose AU as the plug in protocol so I got the “brilliant” idea to uninstall EZdrummer and reinstall it, making sure AU only was checked.
The result: No drummer.
No matter how many times I tried to reinstall it there was no drummer to chose in the Toontrack solo field, so the result was, no drummer.
Even doing a Time Machine and going back to the original file downloaded in 2010 I still couldn’t get EZdrummer back up and running.
Is there any way to get it back?

That’s more like the company’s endgame than mine. My Endgame was to install Midi Jazz and keep on tracking, not to shell out more money for another version. Unless they’re giving EZdrummer2 away free, or at a reduced price, all of this tail-chasing is going to call for a time out for me to decide whether or not to pursue this or just go to another company.
As for the suggestions, I’ve tried them all, several times and none of them have been effective.
Thanks for the screenshot. Appreciate you efforts to be helpful.
Hi,
if you have followed all advice above and still have no EZdrummer plugin to launch in neither Toontrack solo nor Logic, I suggest you open a Ticket via the ‘Contact Support/FAQ’ link to get you going ASAP.

VERY happy to report I was wrong
Its been a few years since using this program.
Anyway, now its working as it should be.
Thanks so much, guys for hanging in there with me.
Here’s the page that made it clear to me. Didn’t even have to make a technical support ticket.
Posting it here in case someone else comes along looking.

Gotta say, a lot has happened in 5 years. Thanks for your suggestion about updating to EZdrummer 2. Been checking out this video and its definitely worth it.
Hi, I was clearing some space from my onedrive and accidently deleted a couple of ezdp and wav files from ezdrummer 2. I tried to recover these from the onedrive recycle bin but they are not showing. Can I get these back?
