EZDrummer 3 with Yamaha 502: open hHiHat plays Racktom 3

Dear all,

I use since 2020 EZdrummer 2 and now EZDrummer 3 for my Drum KAraoke and was very satisfied, but since some days, I have the following phenomenon:

When I hit the Edge of the open Hihat on my Yamaha DTX 502  the EZ Drummer 3 plays the rimshot of RAcktom 3.

I right clicked HiHat and Racktom 3 and clicked on  “edit mapping edrums/midi” and saw the rimshot of racktom 3 is assigned to midi note 78, but i want an open hihat to be played (midi Note 24, 25, 26, 60, 17). What can I do, what have i done wrong???

I think i have not changed anything.

Can somebody please help me. I have no idea on how to caome back to the situation before…

aren’t you using the ‘Yamaha: DTX5 Series’ MIDI Preset on the ‘E-Drums/MIDI In’ page?

Hi,

yes, that was the fault.

Sorry, I am such a fool. and sorry, that i reply with such a delay.

I choosed the Yamaha in the settings as the drum set as i did in EZdrummer 2,

But i didn’t selecht the respective dtx serie in ezdrummer 3 as it was not necessary in ezdrummer 2.

When I started with ezdrummer 3 I selected it, but when I changes the drumsets back and forth I lost the setting and I was not aware about the misconfiguration.
