EZDrummer 3 / Studio 1Pro 7.2 Problem

Need some advice on a problem I’m having.

Starting in July I started having a problem with my DAW (Studio 1) freezing during playback of a song and get a clicking sound coming through the interface (Presonus 1824c). All functions freeze in the DAW and I have to use “Task Manager” to close Studio 1 losing any work I hadn’t saved yet.

I’ve been noticing every song this happens on I’m using EZD3. So I started 2 new songs as test songs using Addictive Drums as my drum VI and I have not experienced the freeze. I uninstalled EZD3 and reinstalled it, it did not fix the problem. Uninstalled Studio 1 and reinstalled it and it didn’t fix it. Have been working with EZD3 on this computer and the same DAW since December so I’m not sure exactly what happened. Studio 1 released an update in July so I’m assuming it is going t be linked to that. Have tried Presonus support but they have come up with nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Running Windows 11, 64 bit, 128g of RAM, AMD Ryzen 5

Do you still have the installer for the earlier Studio One. Have you updated the interface driver? I’m not having the same problem in my SO.

Updated Universal Control and it is still happening. I’m sure I do still have the earlier installer, I will try installing it to see if that fixes it.

Have you checked if you get the same issue with EZdrummer 3.0.6? It is still available for download.
