Hello
Since in the Metal Machine pack toms have a lot of reverb I wanted to try to replace them with toms from other packs.
But as soon as I replace them – every second hit there’s a rim click. So it sounds like: tom – click – tom – click. And that’s with all toms.
Is there a way to fix that or maybe reduce the reverb on standart toms?
Thanks
From what EZX are the Toms are you replacing with?
You may have to go as far as muting the Reverb Channel or Ambient Channels since the macro knobs don’t seen to affect the Toms.

I’ve used toms from EZdrummer 3 Main and Bright rooms.
Regarding reverb – I tried to mute ambient channels but still they have large amount of resonance. Maybe that’s the specific of the room of Metal Machine?
Also forgot to mention that I’m using Alesis Nitro with this setup.
But the clicks are appearing even when the e-drums are not connected
I can’t recreate the error. But about the clicks. The older EZXs have an Alternate Hit, if you look under the mapping you’ll see it. Metal Machine has this Alternate Hit on the Toms. Try doing the same workflow on a different EZX just to see if the clicks go away.
