Hi guys. when I use the scissors tool and cut up a groove (for example, to substitute a fill), after tweaking the drum hits on the Grid Editor view, EZ3 ends up re-joining that region with the one on the right, and even changes its color. This is very bothersome, as I have to cut it up again, change the color, etc.
Is there any way to prevent this? Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, the only thing I can think of is that you have Humanize on for the hits that are before the Beat and the Humanize moves the hits after the Beat.

Thanked by: SR_RSMITHThanks for your answer, John. What I usually do is I humanize the whole groove first (Cmd+A, then Humanize) and then cut up the region in the exact bar. Indeed maybe some hits remain behind the cut, while they may actually belong after the cut. But I don’t really move these around manually. Maybe moving around or re-humanizing other hits may possibly re-adjust these hits?
