So I’m fairly new to EZDrummer but it’s been working great for my application which is practicing/recording using an electric kit with EZDrummer 3 in my DAW (Reaper). I’m going to be sending the recorded midi to a studio soon to be mixed/mastered and the tech there mentioned wanting the midi file as well as the “midi mapping” from the VST. Is it possible to export this mapping from EZDrummer 3 and if so what are the steps to do so? Thanks for the help!

    Hi there,

I’ve a few questions about the mixing/mastering process you are using.

    • Is the engineer using another virtual instrument/sample library instead of EZDrummer?
    • Which EZDrummer Library and preset are you using to create the MIDI file.
    • Is the Help > MIDI Mapping Layout what you are looking for?
