EZDrummer 3 Core Download reaches 14.9 of 15 GB then appears to stall

I am installing EZDrummer 3 for the first time. I am attempting to download the Core Library using the PM. The download appears to run fine and quickly for the first 14.9 gb, then does not appear to be downloading anything else even though the download sizes of the files are changing. This activity continues on non-stop. When I check the download directory, I don’t see any new timestamps or size of the directory changing. It is almost like it is stuck trying to download the same set of files over and over again. Does anyone have an idea of what is happening?

diskspace? other activity on your device while installing? maybe reboot and start again to makre sure something isn’t running which is locking a file it’s trying to read?

Hello, thank you for your help.

I know I have plenty of disk space, 3TB available. I hadn’t thought about a file being locked that it might need. I will reboot and attempt the download again. I will let you know what happens.

The reboot did the trick. For whatever reason it had about 85mb hanging out there that it was unable to download.  Thank you for helping sir!

glad to hear it. sometimes if you’re installing on a machine with a cloud service (like OneDrive or Google Drive etc) it can lock files as well as it tries to synchronize them. and sometimes a program gets stuck in memory with a file lock and just won’t let go.
