EZDrummer 3.0.3 – the installed resources and plug-in are not the same version

    Hi there,

    Try manually deleting the EZDrummer 3.vst3 file and running the update again. Then rescan your VST folders.


    EZdrummer version: 3.0.3
    Operating system: macOS Monterey (12)

    Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
    DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)

    BEST ANSWER

    Also make sure you haven’t manually copied the .vst3 file to your VST folder, because the PM wouldn’t know about that. I.e. a manually copied file wouldn’t be overwritten with the new update but still look for the resources in the same place.

    Always point your host to the location where PM installs the VST, unless you have initially Custom installed to your custom VST folder.

    Thanks John, this was it. I was trying to get EZDrummer 3 to show up in Komplete Kontrol and I’d copied the vst3 file to another location. I deleted the additional vst3 file and now EZD3 opens up fine in Reaper.
