I’ve just updated EZdrummer 3 to version 3.0.3 and I when I open it in my DAW (Reaper 6.61) on Windows 10, I get the message:
The installed resources and plug-in are not the same version
Plug-in version: 3.0.2
Version of resources: 3.0.3
Please reinstall EZDrummer 3.
I’ve reinstalled EZDrummer 3, rescanned my VST folders in Reaper and I’m still getting the same message. Running EZDrummer 3 in standalone works fine.
My version of EZDrummer 3 is an upgrade from version 2.
Hi there,
Try manually deleting the EZDrummer 3.vst3 file and running the update again. Then rescan your VST folders.

Thanked by: PaulAlso make sure you haven’t manually copied the .vst3 file to your VST folder, because the PM wouldn’t know about that. I.e. a manually copied file wouldn’t be overwritten with the new update but still look for the resources in the same place.
Always point your host to the location where PM installs the VST, unless you have initially Custom installed to your custom VST folder.
