Dear,
I updated my Pro Tools to 2023.3 version. When program starts up I’m getting pop-up that plug-in is inactive or missing.
Does anyone of you have the same problem? Maybe any solution? Should I move something to another folder or the thing is compatibility of EZdrummer 2 with Apple Silicon or new Pro Tools?

EZdrummer version: 2.2.3
Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)
Try running Pro Tools under Rosetta. That should get EZD2 to show up again. I don’t believe EZD2 will run natively on Apple Silicon.
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5

Thank you Man! I already found Avid tutorial for that published 2 days ago:

Anyway I think it’s time to move to EZdrummer 3 🙂

You won’t regret it. EZD3 is a great step up and you can still access all your existing EZXs with it.

No, it will not. Since it was discontinued long ago, it will not be updated to Silicon Native AAX.

Tengo problemas con Ezdrummer, instale protools 2023.9 y no lo lee. Uso Mac Studio con sistema Monterey, con Cubase 12 funciona muy bien. Gracias espero una respuesta
Hi, you have to start Pro Tools in Rosetta mode. EZdrummer 2 is not Silicon Native compatible.
Hola, debes iniciar Pro Tools en modo Rosetta. EZdrummer 2 no es compatible con Silicon Native.

Release notes for EZdrummer 2.2.2:
I can open EZdrummer 2 on Logic and Ableton Live (Ventura 13.6.3, M2Pro). why not include Pro Tools?
Release notes for EZdrummer 2.2.2:
- Added native Apple silicon support to the VST, AU and standalone. The About dialog says “64-bit ARM” (instead of “64-bit Intel”) when running in native Apple silicon mode.

I believe that question was answered previously in this thread:

Avid had not released Apple Silicon support back when we implemented Apple Silicon support for the other plug-in formats. EZdrummer 2 was discontinued before Pro Tools started supporting Apple Silicon natively.
