I’m using Bitwig Studio on Linux and I’d like to buy and use EZDrummer 2 but I can’t because you guys don’t offer a Linux version. I don’t get it. Porting can’t be that hard. Linux isn’t that different from Mac. It should be pretty straightforward. Change the install directory for the vst, the sound library, and recompile the vst for Linux vst specs. I will happily buy many things from you guys but not until Linux is offered as an option.

This is where you are wrong. Unless you can somehow make do
without a GUI.

Thanked by:Hi Olie,
So, the question stands to be answered:
Is Toontrack as a company looking at offering purchased software/product installs for the Linux platform, at all?
If not, can Toontrack consider this post as an official enhancement request to do so?
Failing that, can Toontrack make available to Linux Users a helpful guide to installing your software (IE EZDrummer2 & Updates) onto that OS/Platform?
If something already exists in that respect, provide a helpful link on your website or support forums.
That’s my thoughts on it.
Thanks much!!!
Don 🙂
