EZDRUMMER 2 snare rolls – where are they?

I’m looking for the snare rolls on the new kit samples. Normally they would be sssigned to d#0 key but not so! Can anyone help please?

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. The EZdrummer 2 libraries do not have dedicated snare roll articulations.

A MIDI map for the EZdrummer 2 libraries can be found by clicking Menu > Sound Libraries > EZDrummer 2 Modern > MIDI layout.

It seems like a huge oversight considering snare rolls were included in EZdrummer1. How is one to produce the snare roll effect then? and more importantly will they be included in an update?

I don’t recall snare roll articulations in EZdrummer 1 at all. If you want to do a snare roll in EZD2, use the Snare Rolls in the Extra MIDI section.

You’ll be able to to copy & paste / drag the snare drum [or cymbal] roll to the tom [or sound] of your choice.
