Does that change affect anything else other than color temp?

Yes. The animation of the drums/playstlyes editor now runs smooth and isn’t choppy and/or lagging.

If I click on a drum (say kick or snare) I don’t see a delay in the animation.

Yes, that worked. I have a new 14 core iMac Pro w/128GB RAM running Catalina and the Superior Drummer 3 GUI was slower than my MacBook Air. If I clicked on a drum it took about 1/2 a second to register the blue line around the drum. This fixed the sluggish GUI problem. Thank you!

how in the world did you figure this out. I have been dealing with this for 2 years lol. Asked so many times and no explanation. I recently used Luna and it was flying fast in there so I knew it wasnt my video card lagging. So i did what you said and it is blazing fast. It also fixed other issues I had with some other 3rd party plugins. Thanks for this.

Honestly I don’t remember how I figured it out, but I’m sure glad I did as I was having the same issue for awhile. I’m glad this has been able to help others and now it’s documented so if I ever forget I can refer back to this! Lol

Haha, it also worked on my iMac!!! I was getting really bummed-out and was trying everything I could think of. I never would have thought of that! Thanks a-lot! this changes the whole experience!

Yay this fix worked for me too! Couldn’t figure out why my brand new and rather powerful Mac couldn’t handle this little drum graphics, especially in tap to find!

Well, looks like it has been finally fixed in the latest update which appears to be 2.2.1
