stupid question but when downloading EZD2 does it downlad with all the file types… i don’t remeber. I’m upgrading from PT9 to PT11..rtas to aax and wasn’t sure. Thanks
Yes the installer contains both RTAS and AAX. However I am not sure what happens if the new folder configuration (Digidesign to Avid) doesn’t exist, so you may have to run the installer again after installing PT 11.

I may have even installed both because of the stand alone version, because I have WIN 7-64 bit system???? I don’t remeber.
When I went from PT9 to PT11 if I recall it was a rip and replace. If I were you I would consider a clean install for PT11. Just backup and export your projects. Might even be a good time to consider flattening your system and doing a clean install fresh especially on Windows. Now that said I run on mac so my process would be fairly different. Peter
Running the latest available 64-bit installer on Windows installs AAX.
