that was not the input monitoring button shown in the pic, that is the record mode button (RED). The input monitoring button is to the right right of the ‘IN (Down arrow)’ button.

Oh lol then yes the “Record: input (audio or midi)” is checked.

I am guessing you have ensured you are pointing to the folder that stores you ezdrummer vst file, as you had it working before yes? Maybe clear cache and rescan.

you might have had the “Record: input (audio or midi)” checked, but is the speaker button next to that turned on? if you can’t see it , expand the track panel. the button doesn;t look much like a speaker, but that is what it is.

I got it to come back up but still no sound from ezdrummer, samples won’t play, can’t click on the drums. Yes the speaker button is turned on next to what you are talking about. I don’t understand how it can work in standalone and not in reaper

mate, this is probably a problem with how you have set up this in reaper. Set up your Ezdrummer in reaper, save the file, and then post your issue with the file in the reaper forum, many including myself can help you there.

Not sure if you’ve solved the issue or not. I was having same issue myself. After watching youtube demos and fighting with it for several hours I’ve got mine to work. Not sure exactly what I did either. The one thing different than what’s been discussed in this feed was setting EZD2 mixer to multichannel so that each individual piece of the drum kit has its own channel. I’m using 32 bit and had to rescan through reaper several times before it picked up EZD in the VST plugins. Luckily I didn’t have to reinstall anything.
