Hi,
I am using EZD2 with an iMac and a presonus 16.4.2. I am setting the multi-outs so I can get different drums into the presonus mixer on different channels. This works fine, and I am happy with the result, except for when I save as an ezdp, all my routing settings are saved, except they don’t work. When I close the program, then re-open it, then load my saved ‘ezdo’, then play my groove loop, I only hear kick and snare, as they are set to channels 1 and 2. Even though, in the mixer tab, the correct outputs on all the channels are listed exactly how I want them, they don’t work. Each time I open the file, I have to go back into output menu, and re-do all the outputs for it to work properly. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I suspect a clutch or bug in the program?
Hi!
Is this in stand alone or in a host? If this is stand alone, by output menu, do you mean the menus in the mixer or the one in Settings / Audio/MIDI Setup…?

Hi,
It is in stand alone, I haven’t used it as a plugin in a daw yet.
I mean the output channels in the audio/midi setup.
In the mixer tab, all my settings for the multi channel outputs are correct, but they don’t play, they revert back to output one, therefore the kick, snare, toms, etc all can be heard through channels one and two on my presonus mixer. The way I have the multi outputs set up, is kick should only be heard through channel one on the mixer, snare on channel 2, all the toms through a stereo mix on channels 3 & 4, overheads through a stereo mix on channels 5 & 6, and hi hats through channel 7. It works great, but after you save it, and turn the program off, then turn it back on, and load your saved scene, even though everything looks right, and has loaded up exactly how it should be, every drum sound reverts back to playing through the default output, which comes out on my presonus mixer on channels 1 & 2. At this point, for example, the toms are showing that they should be set to outputs 3 & 4 on the ezd2 mixer, the sound is actually coming out of outputs 1 & 2. The only way I can fix this, is to go to the audio/midi setup menu, then even though the correct outputs are already selected how I want them, I have to select another output for each one, then reselect the output I want, for every output listed, which is a pain to have to do this every time, considering this information is supposed to be saved along side with other preferences.
I hope I am explaining the issue better this time?
