Hello all. I am running GarageBand 10.4.4 in OSX Montery 12.0.1 on an M1 MacBook Pro. My EZDrummer 2 and EZX’s are all fully updated. I have tried multiple “fixes” found online, but EZDrummer does not show up in my GarageBand AU’s. Apple tech support tried to fix it for over an hour and failed, and I am unable to contact Toontrack support (the “contact support” window is blurred, inaccessible, and unusable). Is this by any chance a known issue with a definitive fix? I have 9 EZDrummer products that are currently unusable in my DAW. Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
not a GarageBand user but,
a response on the Apple Discussion Forum mentioned that
“you have to enable them in the GarageBand >
Preferences > Audio/Midi tab:
Enable the checkmark “Enable Audio Units“.

Thanked by: wheelerThanks very much for your response Scott, I appreciate it! Unfortunately, that’s one of the fixes I’ve already tried. I also made sure that EZDrummer is showing up in the Components folder. EZDrummer is working fine as a stand-alone and I can control it with my Roland V-Drums, so I assume that the OS and the silicon aren’t the issue, unless it’s the interaction between those components and GB that isn’t jiving.
If you have already tried rebooting, try deleting com.apple.audio.InfoHelper.plist from ~/Library/Preferences (a hidden folder which you can get to by using “Go to Folder…” in Finder’s Go menu).
