EZDrummer 2 Modern Kit : Triggering Percussion From Midi Keyboard – Poor or No Response

Hi All,

When I try to play any of the 3 percussion sounds from my midi keyboard, they do not respond properly or not at all (Low to no velocity and delayed response).
I am working in EZDrummer 2 standalone. All other drums respond as expected when triggered from keyboard.

Is it not possible to “play in by hand” a tambourine part for example? I see the percussion is mapped way down on the lowest C#, D & D#.
I hope this can be rectified, otherwise a bad omission. Yes I can engage the “auto generated” percussion but can’t play my own part.
