EZDRUMMER 2 Midi with Roland TD-20

OK. I am a newbie…

I am trying to trigger from my Roland V-drums direct to stand alone EZDrummer 2. I have set local control to “off” on the TD-20 so I can send signal to laptop via midi. Under “Settings” “Midi Device” it does not recognize the TD-20….nothing. I have midi cable out from TD-20 into Fastlane USB interface/ USB out into laptop. What am I missing?

EDIT: I d/loaded the driver for the Fastlane Now, I have latency I will have to record drumpatterns on the TD-20, then do bulk midi u/load into Reaper I guess….
Anyone done this?

Hi,

if you can’t lower the Hardware Buffer size in your driver settings, maybe you should try the ASIO4ALL driver? It’s generic ASIO and works for many people.
