How does the new EZDrummer 2 MIDI program change work ?
It seems to have been forgotten in the manual.
After selecting the new “Allow MIDI Program Change” option in the menu,
I was able to switch between DIFFERENT MIXES of ONE drumkit (e.g. “Basic” to “Original Mix”)
with a standard MIDI program change message.
But I was not able to switch between TWO DIFFERENT drumkits (e.g. “EZDrummer2 Modern / Basic” to “”EZDrummer2 Vintage/Basic”).
What MIDI command do I need to switch between different drumsets ?
I need this as EZDrummer runs as a VST Plugin on a network PC that holds all samples which are selected/switched from my main computer DAW.
Thanks for your help,
Jan
You use the Bank Change to select EZXs. (The most significant part)
The User Presets are also considered to be a Bank, so you
can use Program Change to select from among them.

Is it also possible to switch between the individual instrument assignments via MIDI ?
For example, like changing from “Tom 3 14” Pearl Reference Series” to “Tom 3 16” Slingerland Radioking” ?
Or in EZ Percussion: change from Conga MEINL Woodcraft to Bongo MEINL Fibercraft ?
