Hello guys,
I have a KAT KT1 drum kit and Toontrack’s EZDrummer 2 in a MS Windows 10 environment in conjunction with a Presonus AudioBox iTwo device
and and I’ve been trying to configure without any success connecting to an USB Computer port for the KT1 as shown on the youtube videos and as explained in the forum. The kit gets recognized by Windows and by Ezdrummer 2 as KMC KT1 device but when hitting the pads nothing happens.
I’ve watched some youtube videos for other KAT KT eDrums (KT3, etc) some featuring Mark Morales product manager from KAT and pretty much plugging and playing right away using an USB connection to the computer, which is a bit frustrating.
I’ve reached out to the manufacturer of the KT1 kit and their customer service is pretty much non existent other than a reply that states that in 3 business days they’ll will get back to you and that day never comes.
Please help, I love EzDrummer2 and would like to get it working with KAT KT1 to finally get some help from my drummer while taking advantage of the killer drum kits and sounds.

Have you checked that the MIDI Channel option in EZdrummer 2 is set to All, so that it listens to all channels?
Do you have a DAW to use (Cubase, Reaper, etc)? Those can be more handy to use when tracking down MIDI issues, since they have more tools for this.

Is this the one in the screenshot the Ezdrummer 2 MIDI channel option that you are referring to?
I do have Presonus Studio One professional installed on my machine, but I’m no expert.
What kind of tools could I use to pinpoint and resolve this MIDI issue? Please let me know if you know of any.
This is frustrating , for example last week I received a nektar SE49 cheap midi controller and it was a plug and play scenario and worked beautifully with Ezdrummer 2 from the get go, that’s why I can’t understand why I’m experiencing this issue trying to get this to work.
