hello folks, i’m having issues with my dll. for my DAW, My standalone works properly but my EZDrummer 2 in my DAW tells me that the version in my DAW is an older version??
Hi Bruno,
this is a typical example of when you have moved/copied the .dll file post installation and that .dll file is being loaded by your host.
From your screen shot I can see that it is indeed a very old version Studio One is loading – 2.0.2
Either you point your host to the location of the correct .dll file (which you can find in Standalone Help Menu > Show Plug-In path) or you must Custom install the plug-in to the desired location.
There is no way for the Product Manager to know where you have moved or copied the .dll file, so this breaks the automatic updating.
BR,
John

Thanks for keeping me posted John, so should i REINSTALL EZDrummer 2 or where do i find the proper .dll?

Hi there;
To find the current VST start EZD2 standalone; Help Menu > Show Plug-In . Point your DAW to the path displayed.

Hello Brad, how do i direct my DAW to the path your talking about?
i tryed but can’t figure it out!!
In Windows, Studio One (I’m on Mac), so I believe it’s under Options > Locations and select the VST tab.
The first thing you should do is check the folder locations already configured in Studio One and remove the old EZDrummer dll file.
Then in Studio One Options > Locations; VST tab, Add the folder you found from; EZD2 standalone; Help Menu > Show Plug-In
Then restart Studio One.

Well i tried lot’s of thing’s here & nothing work’s, i will eventually UNINSTALL & REINSTALL this vst. it just wont work & i seem to be stuck with the old 2.0 version.
Can you post a directory listing from C:\Program Files\Vstplugins
Might as well check and see if there’s an ezdrummer.dll file in C:\Program Files\ Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bits. If yes, delete it.

OK Brad, i finally seen the problem!!!
i had the OLD dll. in the VST’s for my DAW & obviously it was clashing with the newer dll.
I deleted the older 1 and now it’s finally working properly.
THANK YOU for your patience Brad and i love toontrack, awsome TEAM!!!
EZ drummer 2 stand alone is working fine but the plugin in Logic pro x keeps loading up EZ drummer 2 demo version. How do i fix this?
