This is probably because you at some point move your original EZdrummer.vst or EZdrummer.dll (on PC) EZdrummer 2 will be installed in the original installation directory. You will have to either move the plug-in manually or relink it within Cubase.

    I’m having the same problem.
My EZdrummer is working fine. I was under the impression that when I installed EZD2 it would automatically locate the proper folders and install the .dll file in the correct place. I cannot find an EZD2.dll file to relocate in the Cubase7 plugins folder. Can anyone tell me if there is such a file. I’m using the 64 bit version.

    Hi,

the dll file is named the same and the installer only finds the original EZdrummer 1 installation location, it does not search your entire system for ‘ezdrummer.dll’ files.
If you moved and/or copied the ‘ezdrummer.dll’ post initial install, you have doubles and the one you are using is not updated, probably never has been if you ran any previous updaters.
The correct procedure is to either Custom install the plugin or point your host to the location of the dll file in its VST scan path.
