*** Given:
EZdrummer running in standalone mode.
Version 2.0.0 64-bit
“Knob mode” set to “Linear”.
A single segment (EZdrummer 2 Modern/Vintage, Swing 4/4, Verse, Variation 01) has been dragged from the browser to the track.
Looping is on, covering the segment.
The track is playing.
The “Edit Play Style” view is open.
The Hand Claps, Shaker and Tambourine pads have been enabled.
“Hand Claps” has been selected.
Amount knob has been set to max (8th Acc 1 2 3 4)
*** When:
Continuously fiddling (quick up/downs) with the Velocity control/knob, while the loop is playing.
*** Then:
GUI stops responding, but the loop continue to play with sound.
The application window is greyed out (see screenshot), indicating that the application has stopped responding.
The “velocity value tool tip” is visible in the frozen window (see screenshot).
Screenshots:
I followed your recipe and after about two minutes of violent fiddling
I got a crash. So this one is confirmed!

I also got the same freeze when fiddling with the velocity knob on the kick drum only.
Some basic specs:
Win 7 64 bit (and 64 bit install of EZD too)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
8GB Corsair XMS RAM
EZD running in standalone from a Corsair M4 SSD
I’m happy to retest and post full system specs too so the devs can help track this one down.

Hi,
please download the updates for plugin and library available in your account. You can always run the ‘check for updates’ function to see if there is one available for any of your EZdrummer 2 products.

Serious lag time with track pad pointer and GUI. Also Midi bloks take about a minute to drag to Song bar.
Only use Ezdrummer in Standalone
No audio delay. High CPU usage.
Tried uninstall and reinstall
Maybe after Windows update?? Worked fine until ladt week.
Thanks
Mark
Hi Surftunz,
can you give us more details about your system?
Which audio hardware and drivers are you using?
Can you check if there are updates for your hardware, like audio and graphics cards, etc?
Do you have anything running in the background? AV?
BR,
John
