Can someone please help me. I use the stock Yamaha map in EZD 2 with an adjusted file imported from BFD3 to help with the mapping the file helps but it’s still not right. Does someone know where I can get the correct mapping. I have superior 2 but not sure how to even find anything in that..could not even find the maps.
Ezd 2 yamaha mapping is close to the dtx 900 ( I have one too.). You need to change your module to match what Toontrack has provided. No other way to get it right, short of using drum maps if your daw supports that.
In SD 2 you can make a custom map for the dtx and save and use that. The same issues exist with the default yamaha map, notably crash 1 triggering crash 2.
Intel 13900K, Windows 11 , Cubase Pro 13.0.30, Studio One 6.2.1.64495, 64GB RAM, UA Apollo x4 and UA Apollo X8 Thunderbolt,, 64 sample buffer size, Radeon 570, 42″ 4k monitor
MIDI controller: Roland A-37, Jamstik Studio, MCU Pro + expander
Drum Brain: Yamaha DTX 900, RHH135 hihat, 2 crash and 1 ride cymbal, 4 toms.
Yea I tried that not sure how to do that. I have SD2 as well. How do you do thatv there? Is it a file maybe I could download somewhere? I use pad 13 & 14 for extra cybals and get hihat parts on them. I read somewhere a mono cable would help..just not sure how. thanks
