All outputs in EZD2 are stereo pairs.

Hi Scott – I’ve been trying to render files in mono that should be mono for mixing–kick, snare, hat etc. Everything I’ve tried over the last couple of days hasn’t allowed me to see a mono waveform (I’m using Cubase 8.5) after rendering, even when using multi channel outs. I’ve tried using EZD2 as standalone, as Instrument VST, Rack VST…always gives me stereo. Based on your comment, now I know why.

My question is: what do I do to produce mono kick and snare tracks? Do I just need to take the stereo audio file from Cubase and render it down to mono (essentially an extra step every time)? At this point I don’t care about the extra 15 minutes it would take, I just need to know the best way.

    Thanks!

Why do you need to have mono kick and snare tracks?
