Hi All,
Is there a way in EZDRUMMER 2 to adjust (shorten) the decay / sustain on the TOMS from within the application?
I use EZDRUMMER 2 to perform live with E-Drums. I love the way the mix sounds in general via stereo outs, however I just wish I could simply shorten the sustain on the TOMS in some kits. Do not want to have to break the TOMS out into their own separate outputs and apply external gate if I do not need to. If the answer is no, then Feature Request: It would be great to have a “Decay” (Sustain/Release) knob right underneath the volume and pitch knobs when selecting pieces of the drum kit to edit/change. Adding an “Attack” knob would be nice also, IMHO the decay is most important.
Thx!

There is no feature in EZdrummer 2 for controlling the envelope (attack and release). Some presets contains controls for toms sustain (EZdrummer 2 Modern – Pop for example). I can understand that it would be useful to be able to control this, and your idea is noted 🙂 Thanks for the feedback!

The ability to edit drum envelopes would be EXTREMELY helpful and a great addition to an already amazing drum plugin! I understand there are kits that feature drums with less decay, but I love the timbre of the kits I already use.
One workaround is that when I route the EZ mixer through my DAW, I can gate the toms channel and thus shorten the decay enough to sound the way I want it to. It’s not ideal but effective nonetheless. Unfortunately this won’t help when using EZ as a stand-alone kit for electronic drums.
