I installed Ezdrummer 1.3.3. update. I have Windows Vista 32 bit and I use Cubase 7. Everything seemed fine but when I opened
Cubase 7 and add new instrument track with the Ezdrummer 1.3.3. Cubase freezed and there was text on the screen “WMI Provider lost” or
something like that. I had to roll back to Ezdrummer 1.3.1. to get Ezdrummer working.
Furthermore I bought tonight couple hours ago Electronic EZX as a downloaded product.
When I try to install it following text shows on display:
“You need to upgrade your Toontrack product to the latest version before you can install this product”
Has anyone experienced similar problems?

I think you’re going to need some help from one of the staff guys who has Cubase experieince as you’ll need to get the latest EZD working.
I seem to recall that the install file was consolidated with its updates recently, and I think it needs EZD 1.3.2 or 1.3.3. Not what you wanted to hear, I’m sure
Before this you downloaded v1.0.1 install and downloaded and applied the v1.0.2 update. I had a problem with the 1.0.2 update, so it’s possibly 1.0.3 now at a guess, I’m not up to date, might try it myself later. It’s actually v1.1.0.
Sorry I couldn’t help further.

I think the minimum system requirement for Cubase 7 is Windows 7.
Can you download and install the Toontrack Solo host from your Toontrack account and see if you can install the latest EZD update and then you should be able to install the Electronic EZX. If everything works fine in Solo, my guess would be some compatibility issue between Cubase 7 and Vista.

Thank You very Much John.. So fustrating last night trying to figure this out. Best Regards!
OK here is another issue im encountering.. I tried to do the updated and when i ran it says ” EZDrummer; Base install not detected.” ” A working installation of EZDrummer could not be found. Please reinstall the full product” So i went ahead and did this and after trying to update still having same error message. I have however a version of Superior Drummer2.0 also installed which is working. Would that have any reason for EZ drummer not to be installing properly in Logic9?? EZ Player and Superiour Drummer open up fine in Logic9. but not EZDrummer, it doesnt show up. But it does opens up in ProTools 9 (EZDrummer) along with EZ Player Superior Drummer Can anyone help with this issue??
Sorry, I missed your reply. Superior 2 and EZdrummer can coexist with no problems. Do you have an EZdrummer folder at ‘{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/’? If so, how big is it? You can also try running the ‘SoundMover’ utility and point it to the above location. BR, John

yes i see the folder in there. its 2.71 GB EZX_Cocktail EZX_Nashville EZX_Vintage Help menu Midi Sounds where do i find the SoundMover Utility?
Hi, you should find it in Applications/Toontrack. When you run it, it looks just like any installer but it does not install anything, it sets up the links necessary. Be sure to point it to Library/Application Support.
