Ezdrumerr cannot find the sound files

im using iMac 10.11.6 and Protools 12.8.3

I had a hard drive crash and redownloaded every sample (which took two days) but my EZ drummer 1 isn’t finding the sound files. Any help for a novice??

What do you mean you redownloaded every sample? That you downloaded your Toontrack products and installed them? Or something else?

that was for all my samples…i never touched EZ drummer samples. I am just assuming since my ext HD crashed that maybe i didnt do it right

Do you get an error message? If so, can you post a screenshot?

Sorry not at home currently…It just said ez cant find sound files…

You may just need to use the Toontrack Product Manager, download and install your Toontrack products again.

I don’t know what is or isn’t installed on your computer at the moment so if you can uninstall anything, I would. Then reinstall.

well i had a fully working EZDrummer 1 but it somehow couldn’t find sound files anymore.

the EZ folder is where it says I should put it

also, i can see the virtual kit “playing the notes” but no sound. So i assume, as it says, somehow the link between folder and EZ got changed or broken..

Well, it’s says it’s looking in Mac 1T but the folder shows Pete 1T. Seems like a mismatch and a totally different location. Not sure how that happened. I would uninstall and reinstall.

Hey Scott…Thx for any help:

I realize I’m at 10.11.6 and the EZ install only goes up to 10.6. This must be why it’s not installing. I took EZ off computer and need new install but I guess I gave to upgrade to EZ 2?? Is there any way to use EZ One on 10.11.6??
