Hello, this happens for me in EZD3 3.0.1 (and 3.0.0 too) on 2 different computer one Mac laptop (10.13.9) and one Windows laptop (win10) the problem only seems to be with one kick drum, the 14×24″ C&C Player Date Kick drum in the EZdrummer 3 Main Room (I tried all other kicks from EZD3 and EZD2 just to confirm it was only happening with this one kick drum (14×24″ C&C Player Date)
What happens with this kick is, the kicks cut out at certain “velocities” and is inconsistent randomly doesn’t play all notes, I can get it to happen every time, on both laptops Mac and Win 1o.
If anyone can confirm this or try this i would be grateful.
1.Load the EZdrummer 3 Main Room – Studio Basic (any preset should do) Select the “14×24″ C&C Player Date” for the kick drum
2. Open the grid editor, put solid 8th note kick drums in every beat for a few bars
3. “Important” Now adjust all the velocities of all kick notes to “95” (Vel) and play
When I play mine back on either laptop (mac or Pc) the kicks cut out and not every kick plays, it won’t play all notes back at this velocity even though the notes are there.
I’m pretty sure it does this “only” for Velocities between 94-97 and has the same behavior, all other velocities work normal and the notes play back as they should. Very weird its only “this” kick drum.
I tried with different laptops, audio interfaces and buffer sizes to trouble shoot and rule out anything, i can reproduce it every time.
Not sure what is going on, but i would appreciate if anyone could try this to see if its a bug. Like i said it weirs that it is only wit this kick drum, i tried every other kick and none had this problem.
