At the moment you’ll have to open Settings > E-Drums… and then select “Mapping” in the panel to the left.

    If Windows….

    I found them in…….       C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer\

I made a folder for each drum set and copied the PDF files to it and put the folders where I can easily find them.

The new EZX 3 Drum sets do not appear to have PDF’s that I could find and I hope they are developed. The charts are handy for those that create or edit MIDI files in a DAW.

You can still do this. You can also do it in reverse where EZD3 will map to your DAW. PDFs in EZD2 made sense because there was only a singly mapping. There is no single standard mapping in EZD3 as it can be anything you want it to be.

Thank you all. Using Andreas’ directions and Bear-Faced Cow’s explanation, I was able to create my own mapping from scratch. Everything worked perfectly except for the “Mute Tail” action of the cymbals. For some reason that value is not stored (you can enter a note mapping, but it will not be kept). I have raised a support case for it.
