Do you have MIDI on the Cubase track? Is it the same as what is on the EZD3 Song Track?

I picked out some grooves / patterns  on ezd3 and dragged and dropped into cubase.

I then want to record a guitar part in cubase and click ezd3 follow host ( I like the color coded measures and labeling verse/chorus etc etc )

as soon as I hit record, ezd3 stops and the Follow Host Disabled pops up.

If EZD3 detects the same MIDI on the Song Track in EZD3 AND the Cubase MIDI Track at the same time it will give this error so it won’t be trying to trigger duplicate parts.

This was added because too many users were doing this and wondering why they were getting flam/comb filtered sounds due to the duplicate MIDI.

Remove the duplicate MIDI from with the Cubase track or the EZD3 Song Track to remove the error.

    Ha !

    I remembered 1st time I heard the flam/comb filtered sounds on EZD2.

Makes sense now…..so basically use EZD3 as my Main and when everything is complete then drop it in Cubase.

    Outstanding Customer Service !!

    Thank You
