EZD3-Ekit triggering randomly cutting out/skipping

Up front specs:

– Roland TD-17KVX

– EZD3 using standalone, no DAW (not yet anyway, was looking at Reaper but there seems to be a lot of issues between it and EZD3 so now considering Reason possibly)

– ASUS, Windows 10, Intel Core i7 16gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX MaxQ 2070, 1TB SSD

I’ve got the sampling rate set as low as possible, ASIO driver at 48khz and 64 bit using the TD-17 module as output. No latency issues overall, but while I’m playing the sounds blank out or “skip” every once in a while. Seems it mostly happens when more things are being triggered simultaneously or playing in unison with a drumless track from my phone via Bluetooth on the module. Like I said latency/delay is not really an issue with my settings, it’s just this blank out that randomly happens.

Not a clue. But the first thing I would do before chasing dragons would be to get a 2nd usb cable. Then I would try both cables on every single USB input on my computer.

Also 64bit has nothing to do with you buffer settings, so you should keep investigating and look for buffer size and try raising that number. If you meant to say 64 samples, now that is taxing your computer, lower the number, the harder your computer works… raise that number.

Yeah I didn’t figure the 64bit had nothing to do with buffer settings, I just listed as much as I could with my setup off-hand especially for Toontrack if they have any input. I’ll try the USB and raising that 64 and see where that gets me. Thanks!
