Resolved – Issue caused by a broken headset.
——————————————————
Since updating EZD3 to version 3.0.3 the Dance EZX volume is broken…
– Using the default kits some of the pads are now barely audible
– Impacted pads varies by kit (kicks across all)
– The problem occurs in both standalone and vst versions
– Tried reinstalling EZD3 and the EZX
Is this a known issue? Any way to revert to an earlier EZD3 version?
Thanks
Hi onvex10,
We would like to know more about this issue you are experiencing. Currently, we are unable to reproduce this on our end.
1. Are you getting the lower volume both via incoming MIDI from a DAW and with MIDI on the EZDrummer 3 song track? Or is this only occurring if you click on the pads with your mouse?
2. Up in the right corner, there is a progress bar when you load the Dance EZX library, and if you load a preset. Does the progress bar continue all the way to the right or does it stop mid-load?
3. Are you using an external audio interface/mixer with multiple (more than 2?) output channels?
4. Please send us a screenshot of the settings > Audio/MIDI setup window, and also try different sample rates and buffer sizes to see if that makes a difference.

Happy to see that you found the cause of the error. Sorry to hear that your headset is broken, though. Have a great summer!
