EZD3: Crescendo/decrescendo, or even just loud bits & quiet bits?

    Click or drag to highlight the beats you want to make louder or softer. Drag, up or down, the tops of the stalks as shown in my screenshot.

    For quick adjustments of loud and quiet parts you can use Edit Play Styles to select your kit pieces and adjust the velocity. For crescendos and decrescendos you there is a tool in the grid editor.

    Thanks Jordan, but where is the crescendo tool? I can’t find it.

    The crescendo took is on the grid editor tab. It looks like a sawtooth.

    Ah! The slope.

    Yep that’s them. Click and drag to adjust the slope of the crescendo/decrescendo. Edit Play Styles is my usual go to for quick and dirty adjustments. I’ll use the Grid Editor for finer adjustments. As always YMMV.
