EZD3 is excellent, but I have found a small bug when working in Cubase 11.
In Cubase pressing 1 or 2 on the number pad of the computer keyboard sends Cubase to the left or right locator. However in EZD3, when you change tabs (from Drums to Grooves for example) it no longer responds to the 1 and 2 keys until the focus is shifted back to the project window, then it is OK until you next change tabs.
Oddly the space bar still stops and starts, and the other number keys still work (if you are using the marker track) and the asterisk starts record. It just ignores 1 and 2!
I’ve just discovered that if you detach the midi editor, then the space bar no longer stop/starts the project – so I can’t detach the midi editor for any easy work!
Hi,
there is a page in the EZdrummer 3 Settings called ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’.
You can de-select ‘Enable keyboard shortcuts in DAWs’ or simply delete one that you find is conflicting.

Thank you. Removing all 4 entries for 1 and 2 cures the problem.
However when the midi editor is detached (and in focus) then no daw keyboard shortcuts work. I have not found this a problem so far – but it would be better if the keys did work in this case.
