Hi
Possible to drag n drop recorded audio file from inside Cubase AI to EZD3 Bandmate?
Currently I don’t get it to work.
It works with EZBass but not with EZDrummer3 , why?
I’m having the exact same issue with Studio One.
I have a feeling its only works with certain DAWs atm
Same issue here in Studio One on PC also midi file will not load into bandmate, recorded wave file into Studio One will crash EZ3. If I take a midi file I played into daw an convert it to a wave file it will properly load into bandmate.

Thanked by: Thirdmoon1Same exact issue here, and i use Mixcraft 9
Toontrack support told me that it should work , that they will have a look, that in between i should try to drag the track to EZD3 in stand alone modus.
will try it this evening , now i have to work.
To be obligated to transform audio track in wav data would be a lot more work and make bandmate totally useless.
regards 🤘🏻
Hi,
let’s see what Support gets back with but just be clear: dragging stuff from plug-ins to DAWs is something that works universally; dragging stuff to plug-ins from DAWs is in general very restricted, e.g. in Pro Tools it is totally blocked.

Thanked by: afterburner1277, jazzmandan and Thirdmoon1Hi, forgot to mention. Dragging my recorded guitar di from DAW to EZ Bass works just fine. So, i know this is possible.

Thanked by: Thirdmoon1Yes i know, but dragging from Daw(cubase) in EZBass works , but dragging to EZD3 don’t 🤷🏻♂️
So , this should not be a problem of Daw restriction.
Not able to drag file into Bandmate using Studio 1 here.Have to save as .wav file and then upload .wav file.

EZdrummer version: 3.0.0
Operating system: macOS Mojave (10.14)
We have not had any issues dragging audio from Cubase to Bandmate. I can mail you a link where can upload a project and its audio files so we can try to reproduce it. Please make it a project with both EZbass and EZD3 and verify that the same audio only can be dragged to EZbass.

so, this is kinda crazy.
I tried the drag n drop from within the Studio One DAW on my Windows 11 machine, and it worked fine.
Still doesn’t work on my Macbook. Maybe, its some sort of OS setting?

Thanked by: Thirdmoon1That’s realy interesting, perhaps it’s an IOS setting problem.
what’s weird is , is that for me , with Mac (don’t have wiwi) it worked with EZbass but not with EZD3 🤷🏻♂️
Hello
Sound good but the main problem is that i did the drag in EZbass in a cubase project last November , using EZbass trial version.
I don’t have EZbass now , i planed to buy it , but i had to spare money and prefered to invest it in the EZD3 upgrade 😬
Hello.
I run Cubase 12 Pro on Windows 10 and tested Bandmate feature yesterday and didn’t have any problems.
I did all the testing within Cubase project, meaning I had EZD3 open as an instrument track. I didn’t try to move it to EZD3 running as a separate instance outside DAW.

Thanked by: afterburner1277Well it seem that the work around for me is to do a mixdown in studio One of my recorded wave files and midi files and then drag those mixdown track into EZ3 bandmate and it works fine. I also have Cakewalk Bandlab installed on the same windows 10 pc and it works just fine drag and drop midi and wave file no problem.
