EZD3 – Apply Tempo Modifier to an entire song?

Hi folks.  I’m a serious newb.  First drum software I’ve ever used.  Just wondering if there is a way to apply a 1/2 Tempo modifier to an entire song that already has multiple Grooves for different song parts.  Basically I’d like to be able to use Song Creator and make the song 1/2 Tempo.  Possible?  Thanks.

Hi,

it is much easier to set the 1/2x Tempo before dragging to the Song Track. If you already have your parts on the Song Track, you can:

• select all parts, right-click and select Stretch Notes 1/2x(Half Tempo) but then you need to drag out the end of each part and move them to give room for the extended part end, or
• select all parts, right-click and click Merge (or hit ‘J’ on your keyboard) to merge all parts into one, followed by right-click and Stretch Notes. Then you only need to extend the end of the one part.

Thanks for the reply.  I probably should have been more clear.  I’m trying to do this using Song Creator by setting it to 1/2 then dragging down the Arrangement from Song Creator but it doesn’t seem to work that way.  It does work when I just drag down a Groove.  I’m guessing not possible to use 1/2 with Song Creator?  Thanks again.
