EZD3 – and expansion packs

Greetings – I own EZD, EZD2, and some expansion packs. I am looking to purchase EZD3.

Will all expansion packs from EZD and EZD2 work with EZD3? Do such expansion packs need to be upgraded? If not, are they at the EZD/EZD2 level of sonic quality even if played within EZD3 (or are they essentially EZD/EZD2 quality in terms of samples/round robins. etc.)?

Do the newer packs (ones that require EZD3) have greater sonic complexity in terms of sampling/round robins?

All will work just as good in EZD3.

The product Manager will update all for you.

Newer packs are certainly bigger with more content. Can’t comment to your specific concerns though.

Does the Jazz Fusion exp pack for  EZD3 have grooves in 5/4 time signature?

Hi Dean,

I am not sure which pack you are referring to but did you know that you can preview all MIDI packs available in the Web Shop by going to the ‘Grooves’ tab in EZD3 and click the ‘Shop Webshop MIDI’ button?
Filter out grooves you do not want by e.g. selecting 5/4 and Fusion.
