Hi all,
On latest version EZD 2.01 and SD 2.4.0. I loaded the EZD2 Modern library in both EZD2 Standalone and SD 2 via solo. B2 triggers the ride in EZD2 and the Crash (properly for DTX900 and most modern Yamaha ekits) in SD2.
I had posted about a variation of this before and was told that Yamaha isn’t consistent. From my testing B2 is the problematic note (which seems to be right in SD2.) It would be great if someone can confirm this. I sent an email to tech support who followed up with more questions about testing in Cubase. I will do this, but I’d like to get confirmation from others.
I will also ask again that TT include the 3 maps needed for the overwhelming majority of Yamaha kits for EZD2 as all of the other programs do this and it can’t be a heavy list to add a few extra mappings that differ by a few notes for the second most popular edrum kit manufacturer.
Thanks all.
Greg

Thanks for the feedback.
With regard to this specific issue with the Yamaha Mapping we’re looking into creating greater consistency between S2 and EZdrummer 2.
