hello,
I got a Problem whit my EZ Drummer2.
I play with a Roland Td9 and a Behringer 1820 Interface via Midi on Win7 x64.
after i switch in to the Browser or the Search and playing a Samplefile in the Standalone or vst, Ezd2 change the loudnesd and depthness of the Midi live playing .
Example: If I change the sound file of the kick drum after a playback of a sample and then I play the kick drum of the td9, I can hear it normally 5 times. Then the depth and volume change automatically by the program.
The same after i play a recording of the td9
I need to restart ezd2. After this it works correctly.
but the same Prozess beginns after i playback anything
Whats the problem?
Hi lutzi,
this sounds strange. If you keep an eye on the Master Volume slider at the lower right when you first launch EZdrummer 2 and when you experience a loudness drop, does it change its position?

Hello John,
the Mastervolume Slider does not change. So It is not only the Volume that changes, the sound of the selected kick drum changes too.
Tomorrow i will try to make a sound file. maybe that explain the problem better…
Hello John,
Im upload a video, i hope this shows what i mean
That is confused because i don’t know what is the right sound of the selected Kick Drum. The first 5 kicks or the sound after the first 5 kicks, and is it an error?…
btw, iam not an English User, so excuse me for my bad translation.
It sounds like to me that you are triggering from the TD9 and are triggering less than 127 velocity (softer hits). Clicking on the drum in the interface with trigger the hardest 127 velocity hit. You may need to adjust your TD9 so when you hit the drum pedal hard, you are triggering 127 velocity.

Hello,
I got my Triggering on the TD9 to 127. I dont think its the Setup from the TD9. If i use the Mousebutton to trigger the Kickdrum in EZD2 i got the same Problem. And ist only on the Kickdrum, Toms and Cymbals sounds normal.
So what i find out is, this is only on the “Modern Metal” Kit. If i try out the “Basic” or “original Mix”, it sounds normaly..
and It isn´t after i trigger 5 times the Kickdrum. instead after 5 seconds it change the Sound.
Maybee The Programm needs some Time to load the right soundfile? That will be not a Problem for me. But it Sounds like that i got a wrong sound after 5 seconds. it Sounds like that it changes the Pitch and the Depthness of the Kick.
In your video, you seem to be using Reaper as your host, does it behave exactly the same in the EZdrummer 2 Standalone application?

John

Yes John, Its the same if im using the Stand Alone of EZD2
I´ll try it out with Reaper and BehringerASIO and ASIO4ALL, Directsound and wasapi.
And i Try it out without the Interface by using my Realtec sound card
but Everytime the self…
Would it be possible for you to record this in e.g. Reaper while it is happening and zip that Project and attach to a post here?
I.e. you record your hits with a Kick and hear the change, stop, play it back and experience the same thing when playing back. ZIP archive this Project.

John
