I have EZD2 loaded as a plugin to FL Studio 20. I have the basic modern kit selected. Details panel shows D2 as the key for mute hit on the 17″ crash. I hit the mute hit key and the normal crash plays. In fact none of the muted sounds play across then entire midi controller or piano roll. This includes using mouse clicks. The only way to play the mute hit is to open the details panel and mouse click over the mute hit. Essentially two keys are playing the same sound when one of them should play the muted crash. The muted hit even lights up in the details panel but does not play the sound.
I even loaded EZD2 as a standalone without using FL Studio and the same result happens.
[UPDATE] So when I first open EZD2 and hit the key associated with the mute hit, the mute sound will play but a few seconds after it stops and goes back to the non muted sound. Shouldn’t the sound play regardless of velocity? If I load any kit the same result happens. get a muted hit within the first few key presses then it goes back to a non muted sound.
[SOLVED] Velocity curve on the controller seems to be the issue.
