Thanks for the amazing product.
After upgrading to Catalina beta, I was not be of installing Easy Drummer 2 due to compatibility of the EZD 2 installer file itself despite that Product Manager app was working fine.
When will Catalina be supported?

Go ahead. No other issues. This first installation decides where
all further EZXs and MIDI pack go.

I tried to install this on Catalina but it doesn’t work yet. Bought this weeks ago and disappointed that this is not yet resolved.
In the same boat as everyone else. Very frustrating – I rely on EZdrummer heavily for production. Upgraded to Catalina and now the installer is broken. Instead of just saying “soon”, does ToonTrack have an actual estimate? You’ve got customers here that have spent hundreds (even thousands) of dollars on your software that now can’t use it. Is there any way to manually install the package contents?
Why weren’t we warned about this? Really hope this gets resolved soon – Macs are huge in the music biz, and the 64-bit-only environment for Catalina was announced back in June. I figured by the time it was released, this would’ve been resolved…

Thanked by: Erik Martines SanchesWell, here’s an educated guess: about a week from now. Surely less than 3 weeks. Possibly but less likely: in two weeks or in 1-3 days.
The EZD2 installer not working has nothing to do with the 64-bit requirement, by the way.

Awesome! Just having a time frame makes the waiting easier. Thank you!
Good news – the EZD2 installer has been fixed now so it works on Catalina!

As Mikael discovered (another thread), this new installer is missing the percussion sounds. As a temporary fix, I’ve added a download that contains the missing file with instructions how to install it. You can find it in Product Manager if you click “Show Details” for EZdrummer 2, at the bottom under “Extras.”

Thanked by: Henry and Erik Martines SanchesA new installer that includes the percussion sounds has been made available now, for the record. No need to download and run it if you used the previous installer and have applied the “temporary percussion fix.”
