EZD2 HighHat Status and Yami DTX900

Hello Again-

Using General Midi in the DTX900 to EZDrummer 2 via USB on OS X within the build in EZD2 kit (Modern Basic). There seems to be only two levels of HighHat status: HH Closed and HH Open. How do go about getting various levels of HH pressure?

Hi,

please make sure you are using 2.1.1 and then go into Settings > E-drums > MIDI Mapping > Alesis.
There is a Pedal Correction option there as well.

Hey John- Thx for the suggestion. Would never have tried selecting Alesis for a Yamaha controller. I’ll give it a shot and repot back.

Ehm… that’s what you get when you try to answer as many posts as possible in a short time. Sorry, I meant that you should try the Yamaha setting.

Hey John– Haha… No problem. I know Yamaha is selected. But, when I get a chance, I’m going to run MidiMonitor to make sure the module is sending notes for the pedal pressure.
