I have tried over and over to download software I purchased from Sweetwater from your site but it keeps failing. First it says 3.0GB/ 3 days to download? I called my internet provider and they checked my connection and said it is 100% up. I called Sweetwater and they can’t do anything and said that there are no phyiscal media that they can send me. I paid for this software and would like to use it some time soon so any help would be appreciated. It’s been a few days from when I purchased it to this contact and it is getting frustrating not being able to use something I actually paid for.

I just tried downloading from here (Western MA, USA). It downloaded in less than 1/2 of an hour. Have you tried using a download manager?

What is download a manager? I’m still trying to download EZX Metal…..going on 2 days now and it keeps going between 2 hours and 3 days. Back and forth. I went to my account, my products and clicked Download….is there some other secret way to get it faster?
Thanks

Some of our users who have had trouble downloading report success by using Firefox as their browser with the add on download manager “Download them all” https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/
Toontrack however does does not make this download manager nor are we affiliated with it in any way. Therefore we can not take responsibility, or provide support for it.

thanks for the reply. i don’t mean to sound harsh but i am very frustrated about how long this has been. I just got off the phone with Verizon DLS support. they told me to find out the minimum spec to download the software. They ran all kinds of tests and said II have 3.0Mbps service running at 2.82Mbps with 5 wireless consumers , which is enough according to hem to download 1.1gb within 2-3hours. I just feel that the company Toontrack should offer the software on a disc. I could have had it up and running by now. It’s making me not want to buy software anymore that is only offered by download. So since yesterday I have had my 1.1gb download running and I am at 0.1/1.1gb completed. I am using Google Chrome. I tried IE as well. I have used Firefox in the past and really didn’t like it for me but I will try it again with the advice you listed above. Thanks again.

I also always suggest connecting to your router with an ethernet cable rather than a wi-fi connection;
wi-fi can be glitchy and produce a corrupted download.
Hey listen guys have you changed something on your end ? cmon. I have never had trouble downloading too, same computer for 4 years now. Whats up ?
I have spent all day , it used to take 10 minutes to have a new EZX.
2.1.1 is what i can see as the highest version of EZD2 so why does S,Soul want me to update EZD2 to latest version ??
There was a big move and update of servers last week and I guess it *may* affect downloads until mirrors and stuff are updated across the globe.

I finally got both programs downloaded and extracted. I can’t figure out where the dll file is though? My Cakewalk Sonar can’t find it in the Toontrack folder and thus does not see it to open it in Sonar. Can someone point me to a link of something that can help with this issue? thanks

See this FAQ:

Use the Plugin manager in your host sequencer to set the path to the EZdrummer 2 plug-in DLL file in its installed location. You can find the location of the EZdrummer 2 plugin at any time by launching the EZdrummer 2 stand alone application and clicking “Help” > “Show Plugin Path.”
