Hi,
I’ve brand new EZDrummer 2 and Fl Studio 11. I noticed then, when I put some midi into EZDrummer playlist (to window “drag MIDI blocks here”) and I start to play (stand alone version), then groves sounds broken somehow and not every sounds are played… I put a stright 4/4 rock but it sounds like some crazy ultra jazz progression.
If I run EZD2 into FLStudio as plugin, problem continues if song is played from EZD player. Problem ocures when EZD is used with ASIO4All or with native Line6 ASIO drivers – no matter I chose.
Problem goes off if I fit MIDI block into FL Studio piano-roll. If I’ll do this, EZD plays beautiful getting MIDI notes from FLStudio-piano-roll.
I’ve found on Youtube someone with familiar problem. Groves played in browser sounds perfect, but played in “here drag MIDI blocks” player sounds like drummer makes a lot of mistakes.

I’ve newest EZD2 downloaded from Toontrack, FL Studio 11 (newest version), Windows 7 64bit.
Pentium Core Duo 2,2Ghz
4Gb RAM
Line 6 UX8 Interface.
All drivers are newest ones.
Best Regards ,
Marcin
Hi,
just tried to reproduce in Win7 with FL Studio 11 and simply can’t. Whether I run a groove in the EZD2 Browser, Song Track, the Pattern Editor in FL or the Song playlist; with Song Track to follow host or not – it all sounds as expected.
What are your Audio Settings in Preferences?

Thank you for an answer. I’ve tried all Audio Settings from the lowest buffer to the highest one (like on screenshots below). Nothing helps. Also I’ve changed Bit Depth and didn’t help too. I wonder if it may be some hardware conflict in computer maybe. Years ago I bought a piece of RAM which worked excellent on every computer but not in mine at all. Maybe now I have a problem with MIDI or chipset or something like that… or some drivers linked with. I disabled integrated audio too, and it helped not either.

The left both low and should be OK. But why does it read inactive and none under the driver? Isn’t it selected in FL Preferences?

Thank you for support (I’m sorry i took screenshots when FL Studio wasn’t ran, just to show buffor sliders. When FL is working, there are – driver operating at 44kHz/32bit and ASIO Client: FL64.exe).
I reinstaled Windows 7 64bit Enterprise to Windows 7 64bit Professional.
I pluged Interface (Line 6UX8) to different USB port and problem is partially solved.
EZD2 in ‘stand alone’ – works perfect
EZD2 in ‘FL Studio’ as VST plugin, when playback/follow host – works perfect
EZD2 in ‘FL Studio’ as VST but playback from EZD2 player/song creator – sounds broken grooves all the time (but it doesn’t matter to me because I can use with ‘follow host’)
EZD2 in ‘FL Studio’ as VST doesn’t ‘follow host’ when recording to ‘playlist as audio’. Works only when recording to Edison
I don’t like to use Edison.
I am asking colleagues for advice here but I’m not sure this problem is with EZdrummer 2 but rather with FL Studio/Line6 driver.

Hi, problem solved! ![]()
After reinstaling Windows 7 64bit Proffessional, when Win get all updates from Microsoft everything works perfect. I suppose problem was with Windows or Line6, because after I plug it in other USB port it helped too (I dont know if that was a problem of Windows or USB port, but it wasn’t EZD2 or FL Studio neither).
Thank you John for all support. EZD2 is Best Plugin Ever!
I heard it’s good idea to have only Windows + DAW + nessesary plugins/tools for recording, nothng more. Best way is to make separate partition on hard drive, only for this, nothing more. Windows likes to collect rubish anytime we download something or install. Less things we install, less problems and faster system we have in the future. I agree. I’ve tried this, works perfect.
Once more, thaks for support ![]()
