Has the NIC been changed? This includes activating/deactivating. Changing the NIC will cause the hardware configuration to change in Windows and thus, trigger the re-authorization.

Does NIC mean Network Interface Controller, as in a new wireless USB adapter? If so, yes I did get a new one. So do I just re-authorize EVERYTHING then and delete the old authorizations?

Wow – I can’t believe changing a USB device triggers a re-authorization. That’s insane. I had no other issues with any other authorization. You guys need to rethink that.

    Hi Tony,

not just any USB device, only Network Interfaces as Network Interfaces are part of what makes up the Hardware Configuration.

You will need to Re-Authorize all products if you have a new Computer ID. I took a look at your Auth history and you only have used one Auth per product, save EZdrummer. Do you still use the one Authorized in 2007?
Just let us know when you need new Authorizations but you should be good to go for a while still.

    Best Regards,

I guess it was easy enough to remove my old authorizations and put in the new ones. 🙂 The weird thing is that I did NOT have to re-authorize my EZX’s or SDX’s.

It’s still weird to me that the NIC would be part of the hardware configuration when most of the time is a swappable USB device. I do not know of any other authorized product that I have where swapping the USB wireless adapter causing me to have to re-authorize the product. It’s not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.
