Very new to MIDI stuff.
I created a live drum track from my V-Drums into EZD2, (macbook pro) then exported the track to convert to midi so I can edited it.
when I opened it up it launched LogicPro X but it loaded it as a keyboard sounds..I listened to it and it was the same hits as my song but you heard it as keboard notes.
How do I convert this to my drums?
Thanks for the help
So you tracked your e-drums in EZD2 in standalone mode? Then opened the MIDI in Logic? Is this correct?
Did you load EZD2 on the MIDI track in Logic to play the drum sounds?

yes I recorded my drums in the stand alone mode, then when I opened up the file LP opened up the file.
“Did you load EZD2 on the MIDI track in Logic to play the drum sounds” …. dont think I did? it opened up on track labeled Keyboard and when I hit play it was all keyboards.
I really dont know much about MIDI.
Thanks
MIDI is just data. It doesn’t contain any sounds. If you send MIDI to a keyboard ‘sound’ it will play back as a keyboard. If you send it to EZD2, it will play drum sounds. You will need to open the MIDI on an instrument track in Logic that has EZD2 loaded.

You would load your MIDI to that instrument track as described inn
the FAQ.
