I’ve never used Music Maker 27 so i don’t have any personal experience. Looking at the Magix website, the free version doesn’t seem to support 3rd party plugins. I’m not sure what exact version of Music Maker you have. Can you give more details about what version you are running?

Thanks for coming back. I have the full premium version 2017, from the official website, updated. There is even a youtube video of a Russian guy, using EZDrummer in that exact version.

I have just now deinstalled and reinstalled EZDrummer 2. 64bit. Still, same issue. Runs stand alone, but wont integrate into the Music Maker Instrument library, as all the other VSTs do without issue.

    ??

    THanks, brgds Nils

The premium issue does include the plugin to enable third party VST. Is installed, and works with the Korg Legacy items.

What is the exact install path of the plugin folder that contains both the Korg instruments and the ezdrummer.dll? Are the Korg instruments 64-bit? Is Music Maker 27 a 64-bit host? Try installing the 32-bit EZD2 and setting the path of that.

Hi, the path is C:\VST . And then the xxx.dll straight in to there.

Music MAker is 64, Korg is 64 and EZD install was 64.

Will do the test with the 32bit version now.

It’s not in C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\ or something? It’s right in the C:/ directory?

Yes, as this is the path given by Music Maker. And I could give that directory as a target during the EZD 64bit installation. It dropped it right in there.

Now I had deinstalled 64, installed 32, and it took over that location.

I can see the EZD.dll, rescanned the VST folder through Music Maker, the Korg devices are visible, EZD still is not.

I think, I am going to switch to Cubase Artist, as there, I am sure that EZD will be recognized, correct?

See the EZD2 product page and scroll the the Supported Hosts to see a list of silly tested and supported hosts for EZD2.

Like i say, I no experience with Music Maker but usually 64-bit plugins (in a 64-bit OS) get installed to C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\ or something similar and 32-bit plugins install to C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins or similar.
