After one hour (Well after a few minutes) BLOWN awat.
I have been doing e-drums and MIDI since day one. And the issue has always been latency.
RIGHT out of the box No settings changed – except logic lower the buffer for playing raise for playback and mix
no latency!!!
Old way I had to play and record on VDrums with all drum (vst) sounds onboard Logic or EZF 2 or others – all of em were way way behind. So I recorded the MIDI with the on my TD 11 Vex sounds
Then I would flip the midi (Which is NOT behind only the audio) into say EZ D 2. It worked. Not perfectly but yeah close enough for drumsm eh?
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the lil wee donkey…
Great volume range !!!! Everything where I wanted it !!!!! All dynamics no latency AT ALL.
I did not change a damn thing – and this si both through LOGIC and stand alone.
Thank you
I have no idea what ya did but it worked,
Now I know y’all weren’t probably considering this but as a legally blind drummer (And no not blind drunk … it is early!) It is a wee bit tough to see some of the control and some auto accessibility stuff I use makes it a tad wonky but not unbearable. I will jockey with the accessibility once I stop well…. PLOTZING WITH JOY!!!!
LOL
